AVADO was built on the empowerment of local farmers in Uganda and the ethical sourcing of all our avocados.

Our team works closely with local growers to consistently improve crop quality and equip them with the skills they need to achieve high yield and productivity.

We ensure the farmers in our network are compensated fairly for their avocados. We also subsidize the cost of Hass seedlings for low-income farmers so that they can afford to grow avocado and sell it back to us for a price that reflects their hard work and importance to AVADO.
